CNY SPCA Pet of the Week: Buddy

Everybody needs a “Buddy!” Buddy came to the shelter when his family was not able to care for him.
He’s six years old and about sixty pounds. He’s a little shy and very sweet. He can be a little timid, but once he gets to know you, his playful side shines through.
He doesn’t like to be petted on the head, but he loves to be petted on his chest and lower back.
Buddy walks nicely on the leash, loves treats, and loves to learn.
He’s so gentle that he’s the first dog new dog walkers take out. Everyone loves him. He’s also part of the doggy playgroup.
We think he would do well in almost any home, and with respectful kids. If you’re looking for some “Buddy” to love, look no further than Buddy the dog!
TO ADOPT
In order to adopt, you must fill out an application, pay an adoption fee, and your current pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccines. All adopted cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have had all vaccinations before they go to a new home.
